Adam Wakefield
  • All the country
  • All the soul
  • All the gospel of Rock & Roll

Adam Wakefield is a singer-songwriter who hassecured his place in Nashville, TN, but is far from the typical artist one may expect to find in the Country Music Capital of the World. Growing up in New Hampshire, Adam didn’t intend to become an artist. In fact, his original goal was to become a musician. He began to play piano when he was younger and in search of a hobby, especially one at which he believed he could excel. Adam’s intuitions were correct, and he continued to play piano until it was time to make a musical choice and hone in on a certain genre as a pianist. Rather than choosing the predictable classical route, the man who has become celebrated for his uniqueness in his artistry opted for jazz.

Moses Jones
  • Country, Dirty Southern Soul, Blues

"The music that lives in Moses Jones, either by birth or divine guidance, is as good as it is varied. The sound comes from the instruments, but the music comes from the souls of the boys pulling the strings. It rolls down the mountains and through the hills and takes hold before the soil turns to sand, remaining on the solid ground it knows well. Let others shag on boardwalks. We pound boots on quartz and clay, nodding our heads in time and agreement.

So it has been and so it shall be, forever and always. Amen."

- Shari Smith

(Author of  I Am A Town, contributor and producer to The Shoe Burnin': Stories of Southern Soul,  Manager of  Working Title Farm)
